About THE ARTIST
I grew up in the 80s and am a big fan of: Ray Harryhausen, D&D Fantasy, DC animated movies and series, John Buscema, comic books, Conan and that kind of stuff.
I have worked in the Games and Entertainment Industry for the last 28 years, building a studio with a team of fantastic people.
My first love has always been comic art and illustration. Whenever I get a chance to practice and improve my drawing and inking skills, I am happy! I also like to 3D sculpt (polymer clay / traditional and digital with tools like Blender and Nomad Sculpt).
When my kids were young, we created a series of bedtime stories together. 20 years later now, my kids are adults and we've grown and kept this story / universe very much alive. It as evolved and aged up so that today I think the lore and background are still relevant and interesting enough for me to continue to be inspired by it. So lots of what you'll see here stems from that universe (which I call MadZik).
